EcoTexNano partners met for the 18-month progress meeting in Ghent, Belgium. During this meeting, the consortium overviewed the primary results of the implementation actions of the LIFE+ project and discussed the next steps for implementation actions to ensure the improvement of the environmental performance of best innovative solutions that are emerging with regard to technical textiles that incorporates nanoparticles in the textile finishing industry (within the process of the associated industrial partners: Piacenza Cashmere and Vincolor).

EcoTexNano partners met for the 12-month progress meeting in Terrassa, Spain. During this meeting, the consortium overviewed the results of the preparatory actions of the LIFE+ project and discussed the implementation actions to ensure the improvement of the environmental performance of best innovative solutions that are emerging with regard to technical textiles that incorporates nanoparticles in the textile finishing industry (within the process of the associated industrial partners: Piacenza Cashmere and Vincolor).

 

During the 53e edition of the Dornbirn Man-made Fibers Congress that was hold the 10-12 of september 2014 in Dornbirn, Austria, Marolda Brouta-Agnésa, researcher in the Advanced
Materials Department of LEITAT has presented EcoTexNano in a talk entitled: Functional Nonaparticles in Textile Finishing.

Those talks has been widely disseminated within various newspapers (in spanish) such as: PinkerModa , Noticiero Textil, Ediciones Sibila, and Diario de Terrassa (see photo).

EcoTexNano has been presented at the 53e edition of the Dornbirn Man-made Fibers Congress that was hold the 10-12 of september 2014 in Dornbirn, Austria. EcoTexNano was presented as an example of international collaboration to the speech of Dr. Vincent Jamier from LEITAT at the workshop “International funding opportunities for research and innovation in textile related sectors” organized by Textile2020 and hold in ACCIO the 17th of June 2014 in Brussels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EcoTexNano partners met for the 6-month progress meeting in Pollone, Italy. During this meeting, the consortium overviewed the results of the preparatory actions of the LIFE+ project and discussed the beginning of the implementation actions to ensure the improvement of the environmental performance of best innovative solutions that are emerging with regard to technical textiles that incorporates nanoparticles in the textile finishing industry (within the process of the associated industrial partners: Fratelli Piacenza and Vincolor).

 

 

 

On 14th of October 2013 took place the kick-off meeting of the project at LEITAT facilities where representatives from the all partners attended: ITENE, CENTEXBEL. PIACENZA, VINCOLOR and LEITAT Technological Center.

In this first meeting the objectives and first steps were presented, and the contents of each of the actions of the technical part of the project were detailed.
